Burn Your Fear

Brand Film

The thing about cooking that people always find to be especially hard is the first step. They have learned about it, look at tutorials or read a cookbook, but they were afraid to take the first step because they didn’t want it to be a failure. Moreover, when cooking for a larger group of people, they’re afraid that their meals would be subpar and become a disappointment. This makes it harder for them to pass that first barrier - to burn their fear and start cooking.

SASA in collaboration with Kedux Garage symbolizes this fear by making an Ogoh-Ogoh that represent fear of cooking. Ogoh-Ogoh is a mythical creature akin to a monster that Balinese usually create as a manifestation of bad energy and bad luck - only for it to be burned during Nyepi Day to cleanse the island off of it. Ogoh-Ogoh that SASA commissioned is a manifestation of fear of cooking, and during Nyepi we burn it all together along with other Ogoh-Ogoh.

Our spirit and philosophy truly was the talk of the town, as it was perceived as a unique way to showcase the spirit of a brand.
